Hoxhaj meets PDK youth: Studies at public universities will be free, financing Student Charter

The president of the Democratic Party of Kosovo -- at the same time candidate for prime minister, Enver Hoxhaj -- on the 21st anniversary of the founding of Kosovo's Democratic Youth has held a meeting with the PDK youth, before whom he presented the renegotiation plan.

Hoxhaj has said that in PDK governance, young people studying at public universities will have free studies.

He has stressed that there is no political party in Kosovo, which is created by youth, and that there is no political party that has taken more priority than the PDK.

For all those studying at public universities, we've reduced the payment in the past, but now the payment for semester at public universities will be zero. Second, we will offer every student the Student Charter and 50 per cent of that card will be financed by the country's government. Third, we will provide a 15m-euro grant that grants will provide opportunities for young people and create small enterprises, middle enterprises in the field of technology, in the field of design and in various other areas for them to create new jobs and employ themselves and others”, he said.

Likewise, Hoxhaj has again invited Vetevendosje Movement Chairman Albin Kurti to confront him in debate.

Hoxhaj has stressed that in these elections the PDK enters without the two most beloved people -- party chairman Kadri Veselin and the country's president Hashim Thaci -- and for their own sake and the KLA -- he has invited young people to mobilise for the PDK's victory.

PDK Youth Chairman Donjet Bislimi has said the Democratic Party of Kosovo is the only party that has vision for the future and for the country's young.

We have vision for the future. We are the best youth programme political party in the country. The recovery is the slogan that will win in Kosovo”, Bislim stressed.
