Hoxhaj's full post:
I invited Mr. President. When we face public debate to compare the ideas and platforms of our two parties for citizens to give them a clear picture of offers in these elections. But he refused. And by refusing, he testified that he is not interested in the needs of citizens but in the absolute power over them.
For many years, Kosovo has needed debate among candidates for prime minister. The paperwork that would clearly and well show to citizens the electoral platforms and consolidate and strengthen our new democracy.
Albin Kurti, refusing to face a public debate before citizens, has indicated he does not respect Kosovo's citizen. Kurti well knows that his poetry and dogmatic phrases are dimmed against a concrete platform that is central to the citizen, such as the platform for re-enacting of the Democratic Party of Kosovo. Hence, it is not even possible to measure himself with concrete ideas in front of citizens.
Kurt's behavior today is arrogant and irreverent, not to me, but to citizens. I strongly believe that the citizens of Kosovo will show the country to anyone who thinks they can overlook their will. In Kosovo, only those who listen to the citizen can rule, see the citizen, and stay close to the citizen without reasoning, no complaints and no taking into account the circumstances. The Democratic Party of Kosovo has offered this for years. This is our party tradition and we will continue with me on February 14th as prime minister and our platform for recovery.
