Hoti talks on the phone with Merkel about pandemic, political situation and dialogue

Prime Minister Hoti praised the contribution Germany has made to the stages of state building and strengthening democratic institutions of the Republic of Kosovo. This has been made known through a communique issued by the Prime Minister's Office.
He announced Chancellor Merkel with measures the government has taken to downplay the consequences that the pandemic has caused, both in health and economic and social terms, according to the communiqué.
“Prime Minister Hoti assured Chancellor Merkel that, the Government in the Task of the Republic of Kosovo will be committed to all obligations and prior responsibilities with the Constitutions and will be constructive co-operation with the international community”, it is now said.
The first executive and Chancellor Merkel also talked about the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue process, which developed on clear principles for reaching the final agreement, with mutual recognition, at the current borders. In this case, Prime Minister Hoti thanked Chancellor Merkel for his support during this process.
Prime Minister Hoti and Chancellor Merkel praised relations between the two countries and stressed readiness to deepen bilateral co-operation in any area of mutual interest.
