The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has responded to Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, following threatening and stimulating statements he issued in Kosovo's direction.
Haradinaj has turned to Vuciqi with a video message saying Kosovo has created the army, not to threaten Serbia, but to protect its territory.
He has indicated that if Vuciq feels threatened, he should recognise and respect Kosovo's independence in that form for our people to live in peace and good neighbourhoods.
Haradinaj's statement:
Don't be afraid, sir. Vuciq: We created the Kosovo Army, not to threaten Serbia, but to protect our territory, sovereignty and independence. As the future president, I will strengthen and strengthen the Kosovo Army, not as the means of aggression, but in the service of peace and stability. If Vuciq feels threatened, I have a very simple solution for him: Know and respect Kosovo's independence and sovereignty so that our peoples will live in peace and good neighborhoods.
