Osmani has said that CEC chairman Valdete Daka is independent and does not represent any political subject.
Furthermore, she stressed that there has been tremendous pressure on the CEC yesterday, and that, according to her, is not professional and responsible.
“Day was put under tremendous pressure on the CEC, all members of the CEC pledge their duties to be impartial, professional and responsible. The CEC's chairmanship does not represent any political party, its most important task, is to protect the integrity of the election process, and we are obligated to save the election process. The elections should and will be held on February 14th. Over these months, I've done my best to get the CEC, to offer the necessary assistance, I've asked the friendly states to offer such support, but abuse of this support can't be tolerated by anyone. I invite all citizens of Kosovo to maintain caution and tranquillity, which protect the integrity of the election process. I'm working closely with all our partners so that the citizen's free vote is protected”, Osmani said.
