Dyosh: Kosovo is preparing to apply in U NESTO

Minister Dumosh stressed that U accession issue NESTO is political, but hopes that with the help of internationals, Kosovo will overcome this process.

It's been a pretty big insistence on me that we started with the spiritual heritage list to point out our most beautiful part and make their file. We must prepare as Kosovo for application at U NESTO. So last time for very few votes we failed, but she has taught us a good lesson that we as inside institutions must all commit to moving the process forward. And I believe that very soon we prepare all the files and pass. U n NESTO. These are also political issues and I wish to help internationals in this process like Kosovo with a legacy, which is highly rich cultural”, she said.

Doshosh has shown that in the year we left behind because of our pandemic, this minister has worked with 30 percent of his staff.

Furthermore, Dumosh said that despite the challenges facing MKRS institutions as a result of the pandemic, with the commitment of the artistic community, some programmes have managed to provide the public.

“Of course this situation has affected the global part of the world as well as us as Kosovo, and it has especially affected the culture, youth and sports institution. The Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports is big enough with large participation of people, who are represented both at the level of culture and at the level of youth and sports. We were faced with an unknown situation in the Cavius virus, but with their commitment we had arranged that especially the first part of the pandemic approach the public, however few different programs across social networks”, she said.

Dumosh said the Ministry of Culture... for the first time supported independent organisations with the largest amount of 1 million and 538 thousand.

Kosovo has been challenged at every level, both state and private sectors. The Ministry of Culture has not left its institutions wrong. As for independent organisations, the Ministry of Culture in its programme this year is the first time it has supported them with the largest amount of 1 million and 538 thousand, where much of it has been distributed and the rest will be distributed. But there is also special caution given by the economic recovery plan, where Prime Minister Hoti has done a fine job and even the MKRS has cleared 5m euros for”, she said.

Minister Dumosh told about the allocation of funds, saying the call for financing of individual artists has had about 700 applicants.

We've already distributed the first phase where, in our youth, 1 million is divided through a memorandum we've made with the UNDP, it's been announced to be part of the six-month practical work that will be paid. The sports section has divided 1 million and a half, and it has been distributed through the Olympic Committee, where the beneficiaries have been 25 thousand and 300 athletes. As far as culture is concerned, you've called for the part of individual artists. We had about 700 applications. The first phase is done, and now it's the payment phase. I've had constant contact with the cultural community since the pandemic for the drafting of criteria, so in a far shape in many ways we've hired”, she said.
