Prime Minister Hoti loons for visa removal, talks with Donald Tusk

The prime minister of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, during the official visit to Brussels, has been hosted today by European People's Party President (EPP) Donald Tusk.
In this case, Prime Minister Hoti has announced President Tusk's priorities for the Government of Kosovo, and in particular the management of the COVID 19 pandemic and the country's economic recovery, as a result of this pandemic.
Also, Prime Minister Hoti reaffirmed the Government's pledge to fight corruption and strengthen the rule and law.
At this meeting, it has also been talked about the visa liberalisation process, with Prime Minister Hoti stressing the urgent need for quick closure of this process, noting that Kosovo has already met the requirements laid down by the EU for visa liberalisation.
One of the issues discussed at this meeting was the process of dialogue with Serbia. Prime Minister Hoti expressed readiness of the country's institutions for continuing dialogue, stressing that the Government of Kosovo is committed to reaching a final agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia, which will result in mutual recognition.
Prime Minister Hoti and President Tusk have also talked about the role the LDK has in all political developments in the country, as a member of the European People's Party (EPP).
