The president, Hashim Thaci, has made the decision to announce heroes to all members of the Kosovo Police in office.
The adviser to the head of state for security, Bashkim Smaj, in marking the 21st anniversary of the founding of the Kosovo Police, has announced Thaci's decision.
The president, based on the constitutional competencies he has, by presidential decree pronounces heroes to all members of the duty police”.
While President Thaci himself has started the day with a dedication to the Kosovo Police, on the 21st anniversary of the establishment.
Through a status on the social Facebook network, he has expressed gratitude to them for his work and engagement in the last 21 years.
“Thank you for the 19 thousand members of the Uniformed Kosovo Police and civilians, for their work and engagement in these 21 years”, writes Thaci, a message he accompanied with a photograph.
