When a week has not yet passed since the start of teaching in Kosovo, the situation in the Fusha Kosovo municipality schools is heavy.
A primary school in this municipality has resulted in some positive teachers with COVID-19. It's about primary school “Mihal Grameno”, where the previous day was done to test those responsible for teaching by the National Institute of Public Health.
By the last test of this 50-sosh school, two coronavirus teachers resulted yesterday.
This has been confirmed by factPlus from the Fushe Kosovo Community. Islam Shaban, director of education in this municipality, has said that there are infected teachers from this test.
He says infected teachers have been isolated since yesterday, according to him so far at the Initiation School “Mihal Grameno” 50 educational workers have been tested and another 60 are expected to be tested.
“So far, 100 education workers have been tested, unfortunately, in the public nursery, five workers have emerged and we have stopped working. The recommendations from IKSHPK were to close the gap. At the “Mihal Grameno” elementary school, 50 workers were tested yesterday, and 2 of them have resulted positive. I immediately took the measures I replaced these junior teachers and from yesterday they are in isolation”, he said.
On the other hand, the education director in Fushe Kosovo claims this school does not risk closing unless the number of affected people with COVID-19 increases.
“The school is not threatened to close because it is not large enough, it has been tested by 60 workers, and unless the number increases, there is no reason for shut-down” has been expressed by Shaban.
Shabanan has said that in all municipal schools, preparations have been made directed by relevant institutions.
Good thing we started according to the ministry plan, each class we divided into two groups. There's no pause between school because we're trying to get in touch. We've got everything. We've disinfected the school spaces and adjusted the distance marks of another”, Shaban said.
Unlike in this municipality, days ago IT has also been forced to close the public nest “
On the other hand, the Ministry of Science and Technology has named the Fushe Kosovo municipality the most endangered municipality because of the large number of students.
