The Social Democrat Initiative through a reaction states that with concern it has followed today's developments at the KLA OVL headquarters and expressed its disagreement about how OVL-KLA leaders treated at its headquarters.
“Since the end of the war, KLA members have responded to justice systems without hesitation, beginning with UNMIK courts, The Hague and EULEX. Therefore, no one has any reason to change the way they bring in the report with members of the Kosovo Liberation Army. It is also disturbing that in the indictment made public by the Specialised Chambers Prosecutor, the prosecution has emerged from the mandate and pledged that the subject of the investigation will only be individuals for their alleged criminal actions, not KLA”, it is said in response.
In fact, from what we've seen in the indictment made public, this prosecutor is investigating it. KLA as a criminal enterprise. Such a quality is offensive to the people of Kosovo and is also outside the mandate of specialised chambers voted by the Kosovo Assembly. The KLA has been, is and will forever be the liberation army of its people, not criminal companies”, say from the Initiative.
