The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, has held a virtual conversation today with EU ambassadors, in which it is discussed the overall situation in the country.
Hoti, on this occasion, has thanked ambassadors of friendly countries for helping Kosovo cope with the outlook COVID-19. At the same time, he has expressed the Government's commitment to preventing and managing this pandemic as well as to economic recovery as a result.
The assistance of partner countries and international institutions has yielded positive effects and we expect this co-operation to continue even in the future”, Hoti said.
At this meeting, Prime Minister Hoti has announced to ambassadors about the process of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, praising that the Government expects this process to be concluded with the comprehensive and legally binding agreement, ending with mutual recognition between the two countries.
During this conversation, Prime Minister Hoti stressed the fact that visa liberalisation would open a real opportunity for Kosovo's citizens and businesses and create new opportunities for the country's economic development.
