The Ministry of Health announced that the total of confirmed cases rose to 300,181.
It had reported an increase of 7,017 cases Wednesday and first reached 7,000 again last week.
The number of people in intensive care with the disease rose again for the fifth consecutive day Thursday, from 18 to 464, and the number of people in the hospital also rose for the fifth day in a row, from 11 to 4,643.
The number of victims increased by 20 to a total of 30,706 on the fourth consecutive day of a double death rate, Reuters reports.
