Family seeks justice for Abedin Bytyqi's mysterious murder

44-year-old Abednego Bytyqi of Suhareka Semethi disappeared mysteriously during October 2016, and after three months of searching, his body was found on a buried and burned mountain.

The tears accompany Abednego's parents every time they talk about his son's death.

Avdi Bytyqi, who claims he has chosen the legal way to seek justice, is very disappointed by it, KTV reports.

In this regard Prizren Foundation Court during November 2019 convicted accused Murat Ademi and sentenced Resmije Bytycin to 20 years in prison and Fadil Fetiu to 12 years in prison. But the same case was turned into retrial by the Court of Appeals in June 2020, after a host of identified violations were found.

With Fadil Fetiu's conviction, his defense is being hired, as according to the lawyer, Fetiu, who is accused of a criminal act of helping him commit a serious murder, has collaborated with justice bodies despite threats.

Prizren's court acquitted Reshat Ademi, the brother of Murat, of having had no proof of it.

In the 9-page act KOHA, erected in May 2019, said Reshat Ademi Murat, the cousins of Res thousand Bytyqi, who is also the victim's wife and Fadil Fetiu, had collaborated to deprive Abedin Bytyqi's life, first bound him, and then sending him to an unknown place, then they started to strike him with strong means causing serious bodily injuries, and then in a cruel and brutal way, with the intent of physical and mental pain, putting the deadly fire on his victim, causing him death, which they did after him in a hole and then buried him.

According to this indictment, Murat Ademi after committing a criminal offense, with the aim of eliminating evidence, has shot the victim's phone and wallet elsewhere.
