You're probably tired of hearing that remote work will last a long time. But the new data in a study shows just that.
A new study by 451 Research A S&P Global Market Intelligence Unit surveyed 575 IT decisionmakers from various industries. The study found that 67% of respondents expect house labour policies to remain in force forever or at least for a long period.
Companies, including Twitter and Square have already instructed their employees to work from home forever. This policy can benefit workers, in companies that work completely online. They can feel happier in general and have more freedom in transport and settlement.
As for employees who may return to the office, restoring the normal situation is still distant. The survey found that 20% of respondents said their organisations would continue at least during 2021 with changing working conditions including remote work, protective clothing and social distance.
A return to the normal in 2019 will not be possible for companies,” John Beattie, a disaster recovery expert, told Business Insider earlier.
With strict security measures required to reopen offices, it is logical that companies are not rushing back to normal.
