While the circulation of businesses has marked a drop of over 1 billion euros in the pandemic, MPs paid by taxpayers are not accountable for the adoption of the economic recovery plan that envisions the withdrawal of 10 per cent of savings in the Trust.
So says the executive director of the American Chamber of Economics in Kosovo, Arian Zeka, until it added that this situation should be viewed as quite disturbing by lawmakers for the damage caused by the Devid-19 pandemic.
“So far with Kosovo Tax Administration data almost general circulation of companies in Kosovo has marked a 1 billion-euro drop that for a country with a grosser product in the region, this one billion so far would have to be seen with a dramacytes on the part of our decisionmakers, and the September action would be faster and proportional to the damage that has been caused”, Zeka says.
In addition to the private sector, Zeka says that the failure to adopt the draft law on economic recovery has sparked resentment on the part of citizens for the initial failure to implement Trust.
This has already raised the expectations of citizens, we're talking about a small sum that they can benefit, but now in public it's like a expectations that citizens have, even the secilia late days, of course, increase citizens' dissatisfaction with executives and legislatures. Deciders to be more accountable to citizens. After all, they are in their comfortable positions by spending the budget tools, taxpayers' money and who have remained in a very difficult position due to pandemic and non-state action, he declares.
The head of the American Economic Ode has told Kosovo Prees, as well as the use of Trust tools has positive effects on the economy.
The “will be a positive effect on the economy if we talk for 100m to 150m euros, just as they are presumptions. If they were to withdraw 10 percent from the Pension Trust we cannot relat to the impact of these tools on the country's economy, but of course the effects will be short term, as will endanger the welfare of pensioners when citizens want to reach retirement age”, Zeka claims.
He has, in the end, said he is wanted by the government coalition to reach a consensus, even with other opposition parties to vote on the plan for economic recovery.
For this bill there have been two attempts to vote, but there has been no quorum by MPs.
