There seems to be a period in which obesity is far more dangerous than in other conditions, and this period is pregnancy.
According to a study published in the magazine “Journal of Child Psychology & Psychiatry”, obesity affects two areas of the brain, which play a major role in decision making and behavior.
Obsessity in a pregnant woman can negatively affect the development of the fetus's brain. According to researchers, the excess weight of pregnant women can hinder the development of babies in the second quarter.

Moriah Thomason, author of the study, puts it: “Our findings state that the overweight can play a role in the development of the fetus' brain, which can explain some of the cognitive and metabolic concerns seen in children born of overweight mothers. ”
The research team using MRI images to measure the activity of the fetus's brain concluded that the chances of children being born with various health problems were greater among mothers suffering from obesity.
