Dialogue guide is Constitution of Republic of Kosovo
Today, I had an excellent conversation with representatives of civil society at the discussion table “Kosovo Prime Minister in front of the civil society platform for dialogue”, organised by the Democratic Institute of Kosovo. I had the opportunity to talk about chronology of the dialogue process, as well as transparency in this dialogue, but also the way the Government of Kosovo will follow until the agreement is reached.Inal for mutual recognition between the two countries.
The guide since the first day I took office for the dialogue process is the Constitution of Kosovo. We have reconfirmed our principles for dialogue, believing that these principles put out the entire conspiracy for supposedly non-public meetings that took place between the Kosovo and Serbian delegations. Kosovo's territorial integrity is non-negotiable and this has never been laid before me in the last three months on any dialogue table that I have participated in.
The second, Kosovo's constitutional organisation cannot be affected, meaning that the unitary character of the state is preserved, that there is no association with executive competency in Kosovo, and for both of these principles of the dialogue process, we have full support from our international partners, and
The third principle, which the agreement must fully comply with the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo. This process should result only with mutual recognition and should not remain a process that consumes only itself and that does not produce results at the end.
