It ends today another week of the health and economic crisis for our country that has faced numerous political developments.
This was a week in which the number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in an inconsistent way decreased, as did the case of deaths confirmed by the pandemic.
On Friday, the death toll dropped to only one, raising hopes for a change in the curve train, but only a day later the death toll reached 9.
Meanwhile, just this week Prime Minister Hoti called on the two opposition parliamentary parties, The VVP, to become part of the Kosovo delegation that will meet in Washington with the Serbian side on 4 September. Both refused.
Hoti made public his team, which will have seven other members, which seems to have no great experience in the dialogue process.
At the domestic political scene, friction among government partners is now at an all-out after publishing the AAK's candidacy for president.
Prime Minister Hoti with his party leader, Mr. Isa Mustafa, met at the Government's facility with leaders of the other two parties in the ruling coalition -- AAK's Ramush Haradinaj and Fatmir Limaj and Initiative -- but it seems this meeting went wrong. Limaj was promoted to the media, and efforts to assume the position of head of state by the AAK and the LDK called them shameful. He also did not seem at all satisfied with the stability of the government coalition.
The next day of this meeting, LDK chairman Mustafa threatened two government partners with “the government's”, accusing them of putting party interests ahead of the state.
During this week a meeting in the parallel dialogue being held in Brussels was also held by co-ordinator Skender Hyseni. He claimed this meeting had not been good and accused the Serbian side of being unconstructive.
