In announcing his resignation, Salihu has cited a number of reasonings, but as the main one, he has mentioned bias in decision-making, which he claims depreciates the deal and makes it useless.
It's a move I take after a long analysis of all the activity so far in carrying out my agreement and personal commitment and the political force I represent. A co-operation or agreement can work as long as the effort and contribution of the parties is mutual and proportional”, Salihu wrote on Facebook.

Resignation Warning
Dear colleagues, citizens, friends and friends. Thanks to you, first for your trust and support, as well as by respecting the common effort, but also those on the way to the best management of power that the people have entrusted to us, I regret to announce my resignation from the post of Speaker of the Parliament and exit from the coalition.
It is an action I take after a long analysis of all the activity so far in carrying out my agreement and my personal commitment and the political force I represent. A co-operation or agreement can work as long as the effort and contribution of the parties is mutual and proportional.
Personally, I cannot be formally chairman, as I have based all political activity on active and tangible assistance at any moment. The force I represent is just as active and cooperative as it sums up the most reformist and visionary voice of our society and as such cannot accept being on the scene of power simply to complete numbers. This voice needs to be heard.
The bias in location and executive, depreciates the agreement and makes it useless.
So, I feel it's my duty to return this assembly with a fragile numeric balance, the opportunity to find a way to function on the streets as democratic and inclusive as possible.
This resignation is not desertion by our commitment to the people, but rather it is a loyal stand against the promise to be in power for the people and not just numbers to guarantee power.
Wishing you a good job and. All good!
Sami Salihu
