Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has reacted after the agreement reached between Ali Ahmeti's DUI and Zoran Zaev's LSDMU's formation of the new government in northern Macedonia.
The agreement, reached today, stipulates the appointment of an Albanian prime minister for the first time in the neighbouring state.
“we welcome the agreement on forming the new government in our neighbouring state, northern Macedonia. The ruling coalition partners wish them success in their institutional responsibilities and in meeting this agreement with clear prospects for the future of Northern Macedonia”, Thaci wrote on Facebook.
“Albanians are the factor of decision-making and stability in Macedonia and the north, and in our entire region”, the president of Kosovo has declared.
