The head of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, says that along with government chairman Avdullah Hotin, they will be co-ordinated to hold a meeting with coalition partners Ramush Haradinaj and Fatmir Limaj. At this meeting, the former prime minister says he will discuss how the co-government is progressing until he has hinted he will not talk about the work of the president, since he says the position of the first state is included in the co-government contract and são was the subject either within the LDK's organs.
We will coordinate the meeting with Prime Minister Hoti. Haradinaj and Mr. Limaj, to discuss the management of the coalition”, the LDK chief has said.
In a response to the Express, Mustafa has said that the job of electing the president is a complicated job that could be opened earlier for discussion only if Hashim Thaci were to leave the chair of the first state because of the Special Court, otherwise would be expected until the end of Thaci's constitutional mandate.
The president's “case is not part of the ruling coalition agreement. It's a complex issue, which opens under the circumstances of challenging with the constitutional mandate. We have not discussed this issue even in the LDK's body”, the former prime minister added.
Out of that, Mustafa says that the election of the president should be discussed with all parliamentary parties in the country, since the election of the first state, in the first two votes, 2/3 of the votes of Kosovo Republic deputies.
The “should be spoken to all parliamentary parties, because the president's election requires the votes of 2/3 deputies, and in the third round alone, it could take place by 61 votes, but provided 2/3 -- thus 80 deputies” -- has stressed the LDK chief.
In this response to the Express, Mustafa has also spoken about LDK deputy chairman Lutfi Haziri, the exchange of Leposaviqi with 17 villages with the Presevo Valley.
The head of the LDK says the work of the invisibility of Kosovo's borders has clarified even more the Political Platform for Dialogue, and says such a stance Prime Minister Hoti follows wherever he sits with Serbia at the table, Washington or Brussels.
“As far as the border issue is concerned, the LDK's clear position confirmed even in the Political Platform for Dialogue, approved at the LDK General Council, is that there is no change of borders and exchange of territory with Serbia. Only this position is Prime Minister Hoti following in dialogue with Serbia in Washington and in Brussels”, LDK chairman Isa Mustafa has finished..
