Former Minister Numan Balic is arrested, sexually molested the patient at Pec Hospital

Former Health Minister Numan Balic has been arrested by the Kosovo Police under suspicion that at his workplace he has sexually attacked a 23-year-old.

That's confirmed by the Constitutional Prosecutor's spokesman in Pec, Shkodran Nikci. The latter said that at the prosecutor's order, former Prime Minister Baliq was sent to the detention for 48 hours.

The case in question has been detained by a person under suspicion that he has committed a criminal assault on sexual assault at the Pec regional hospital. By order of the prosecutor has been sent to the detention for 48 hours, also the prosecution in full co-ordination with the Kosovo Police are taking action on this case”, Nikci told the KP.

He has announced that the case occurred on August 12th, at 22:53.

Otherwise, former Prime Minister Numan Balic had long ago been acquitted of sexual harassment against an employee at the hospital where he works.

Peja's founding prosecutor had filed an indictment for this work on Balic, which was suspected by the month of August 2018 he has constantly harassed the intern at the Pec Regional Hospital by writing text messages on telephone content and sending them letters.

According to the indictment, Balic had given him letters of harassment to witness A.K., to send to his intern, letters that he had then read and stolen victims. The case was filed with police in September last year.
