Kosovo: Over 1,000 health workers infected with COVID

During just six months, 485 doctors within public clinics and hospitals were infected with Coronavirus, and 200 continue to be active cases.

Meanwhile, only 11 others are outside health institutions.

Among the doctors who are dealing with this virus is Emergency Clinic Director Basri Lenyan, who is now in a pre-eminent with his wife and son, who resulted in positive tests for Covid-19.

Until Lenyan says he's concerned with the large number of health staff being infected by this virus, he calls for increased mental health attention during the insulation of the infected.

The Union Health Federation, the large number of doctors infected during this period, describes it as disturbing.

According to FSSH leaders, the battle with Ovid 19 is losing doctors who are not directly related to the treatment of infected patients.
