Jailing for two people who physically attacked two police officers at Ferizaj

The suspects are E.G. and E.E., who allegedly ignored police orders to implement measures against pandemic.

The Foundation Court in Ferizaj, the General Department of Penal Division, has approved Ferizaj's Constitutional Prosecutor's request for the appointment of the detention measure, to defendants E.G. and E. And, citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, due to alleged co-ordination that the attack on the official person designated with Article 402 paragraph 2 concerning Article 31 of the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code (KPRK) has been carried out.

The defendants allegedly on August 14th 2020 in Ferizaj have not heard police officials' orders under the Operational Plan for the implementation of measures against Covid 19 and have not put their protective masks on since the police have asked them to identify themselves, the defendants have initially begun to insult police officers, then they have continued attacking police officers with fists on their face, while defendant E. And he grabs the damaged-police throat and he drags the same one up a few yards, so the cops have been forced to use the spray to bring the defendants under control.

Criminal Division's preliminary procedure judge Elmaz Zenun, the state prosecutor's request for the appointment of the detention measure against the defendants, has approved it as a conform basis of the KPPR provisions, and the same have been assigned the detention measure for a (1) month.

This case, the parties are reportedly complaining against this act did not postpone his execution.
