Gerjali: Kosovo “led” by private-owned political parties

Economics expert, former head of the Kosovo Chamber of Economics Safet Gerjaliu, has said that Kosovo is “being led” by private-owned political parties.

He has also said that in political agendas, it is not the solution of problems now coming from the pandemic, but, according to him, the goal of covering the past on corruption, stealing of state destruction.

He has said that unfortunately Kosovo has been hit by pandemic since after 99, and that pandemic is called “The private political party and its interests”.

I do not believe even the biggest opponents of Kosovo's declaration of independence have been able to imagine such a bleak future of the Republic of Kosovo. A reality that far more goes to interest those than Kosovo citizens who have suffered and sacrificed for a state and for better days in free Kosovo.

We're in pandemic time, a danger that's engulfed the whole world and instead of being active in minimizing the consequences from COVID-19, today we dominate the political agenda. A political agenda not aimed at solving problems, but much more coverage of the past built after 99, where corruption, theft, state destruction, robbery, destruction of education, health and damage to Kosovo's image backed by the lack of rule and law have been the priority of local political institutions supported by the international factor that has not always been for independence and the state of Kosovo.

Today, values have been buried in Kosovo as they dominate and support anti-value. It's not enough to have knowledge and intellectual baggage, but it's just that you're a servile, ignorant, academic and a political party to be advanced and rewarded.

If in the 1990s, Albanians of value and intellectual value have been labeled by then <x0). The misery we've thought belongs to the past, but luckily it's more current today than ever before.

In Kosovo it is fought for power and interest, not for state and citizens, and this is witnessing every day and more. Political parties think they are above the state and not in state function, and their approach is much more private than state. That the state is caught knows this all but that political parties in Kosovo and their representatives fight at all costs to rob, hurt, destroy and not build is being seen every day and more. They act like they know that Kosovo will become a state and want at any cost to adopt and destroy any value of the state called the Republic of Kosovo.

The lack of rule of law and law is the cancerous disease of Kosovo society, and thanks to this phenomenon, we have the privatisation of institutions, privatisation of public enterprises, grouping for areas of interest in private businesses, and the phenomenon of establishing meritive and unaware people in leadership positions and management boards of public enterprises. Today, Kosovo, apart from pandemic with COVID-19, faces economic and social pandemics, much more of this situation, is burdened by the lack of political unity between the parties in the coalition and those in opposition than by the fear of death.

A situation that loses hope for a better future and strengthens anxiety in citizens, and therefore the only solution thought to be to leave this country. But it has to be understood that the flight only coincides with party militants under the political party's den, because they know they are worthless and will have support from private political party leaders, and will feel themselves more comfortable when values leave Kosovo.

It's not enough to be an excellent student from Harvard, Michigan, Vienna, Berlin, Iowa University, but it's enough to be ignorant, criminalized, the lanthropist and the position in institutions will be guaranteed.

This phenomenon or these phenomena can be encountered in both institutions and public companies, and it should not surprise us why Kosovo has come to this miserable state.

It's good to let go of the foolish and ignorant, but what will happen to the world when these people dominate and reason that all the wise men are getting away from us and raising their appetites for higher positions in which, in normal and real circumstances, they couldn't enter free as ignorant citizens and not speak of them as claiming that those institutions and their state would be guided by them.

This is Kosovo's pandemic from which the moral crisis is generating and the fear of what lies ahead tomorrow, but it doesn't have to waste time to look for reasons for failure because it's us.
