A Finnish scholar group believes that they have discovered what people have been looking for for for for for centuries: A cure for hungover. (Hangover ) severe headaches or other consequences caused by excessive alcohol consumption. )
Nights that last until morning with loud music and alcohol consumed may make you regret the next few days, but maybe those <x0/Vutures have come to an end too.
Research published in the magazine “Alcohol and Alcoholized”, by Helsinki University and East Finland researchers, say:
“A dose of 1,200 amino acid L-citaline dose appears to work to alleviate headaches and reduce vomiting, while a dose of 600 milligrams helps alleviate stress and anxiety. ”
There were 19 volunteers, healthy men, who consumed certain doses of alcohol during three hours in a controlled environment. Volunteers were then asked to swallow pills, including vitamin supplements.
Researchers say that in addition to reducing and possibly eliminating entirely hungover, L-cistine also helps reduce the need to drink again the next day, thus reducing the risk of alcohol dependence.
Frequent consumption of alcohol is common in Finland, and more than half a million residents are endangered by overdrinking.
The study led to a number of challenges. Some participants were unable to measure all the required alcohol and were expelled, some others had high levels of tolerance and had no symptoms of hungover and others were disfellowshipped after seeking to increase doses of alcohol. However, the conclusion of the study seems satisfying.
