Serbian diplomacy leader Ivica Dacic has named “disgusting lies” the opposition statements there that Serbia and its president, Aleksandar Vuciq, are willing to recognise Kosovo's independence.
“There are many disgusting lies that the government in Serbia and President Aleksandar Vuciq are willing to recognise Kosovo independence”, Dacic said in a statement to the media
Daciq stressed that “Serbia and Vuciq have clearly said a million times that Belgrade wants a dialogue and a peaceful solution to the problem, but that it does not agree to blackmail and ultimatum for the recognition of Kosovo”.
So stop lying to people that someone will recognise Kosovo,” he added.
Serbia's Minister of Foreign Affairs said that in the previous eight years, as long as the ruling coalition of his Socialist Party and the Serbian Progressive Party of Vuciqi lasted, Serbia “put the Kosovo issue back on the agenda”, in contrast with the time when the ruling party was led by Boris Tadic's Democratic Party.
At that time, nearly 90 countries recognised Kosovo, during our 18-nation rule attracted recognition of Kosovo, so Kosovo today has no more majority for accession to international organisations”, Dacic said.
