The Supreme Court in Belgrade has returned the indictment against Kosovar Nezir Mehmetaj for fulfillment. And it's the third time this happens.
Serbia's prosecution has filed charges against Mehmetaj a month ago, but has already returned for completion, Kossev announced on Wednesday.
The prosecution has filed the indictment on the claim that Mehmetaj committed war crimes during 1999 in the village of Rudica, Kline.
Mehmetaj has been arrested on 3 January this year at the Merdar border crossing and has since been in custody.
Mehmetaj's defence lawyers have said this is the third time the Court has returned the subject for completion to the prosecution, to give it a chance to collect evidence that it does not even exist.
Days ago, Kosovo Justice Minister Selim Selimi, through a letter, has already asked the former chief of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Natalia Apostolova, to use diplomatic power to persuade Serbia to return to Kosovo, Nezir Mehmetajn.
