Long columns of vehicles have been created in Morina today.
Citizens from Kosovo at this beginning of the week have headed towards the Albanian coast.
The column has been created in all entrance lanes to Albania.
The flow of Kosovo vehicles and citizens for holidays on the Albanian coast is bigger compared to the weekend we left behind, but also the fact that the flow is smaller early in the week.
Apparently, improving weather conditions and receiving annual holidays have increased the flow of Kosovo citizens' movement towards the Albanian coast.
The National Centre for Border Management of Kosovo has indicated that waiting at the Morina border checkpoint to enter Albania is 10 minutes.
Albanian border police worked with six sports and accelerated transition procedures.
About 80 thousand people with 19 thousand vehicles have entered from Kosovo to Albania, the first week of August only through Morin's border point in Kukes, while in July the daily average crossing of the border to Albania and vice versa exceeded more than 10,000.
We remember the fact that the first weekend of August marked an extraordinary influx of entry into Albania of Kosovo citizens with the Albanian coast's destination of about 50,000 vacationers.
But the second weekend of August has marked a slight decline in the flow of entrys to Albania, unusual for August, where the flow is greater.
This is due to the torrential rains of the last two days and the decline of temperatures.
The increase in coronary cases in both countries has not diminished at all the desire of citizens from Kosovo to travel and rest in Albania.
