During sex, depending on position, almost all body muscles are activated, so it is not surprising that many calories are lost in this activity.
Realistically, sexologists claim that 150 calories are consumed in half an hour of sex, while slightly more passionate sex consumes up to 350 calories, which is equal to running for half an hour.
The results published in the magazine <x0los One” show that men burn 100 calories during average sex, and women about 69 calories.
Researchers estimate that men can burn about 4.2 calories per minute during sex, while women burn 3.1 calories, writes Menés Health.
In 2013 scientists from the University of Montreal tried to answer that question.
“Burrat can be more physically active during sex, which potentially explains why more calories are consumed,” said study author Antony Carelis.
However, women also need to learn to control their orgasm and keep their partner as long as possible, thus activating shoulders, arms, and thighs.
If women position themselves so that their feet touch the bed or floor, they will activate a large number of muscles.
Experts also stress that sex is a good exercise and recommend that it be practiced frequently.
