Russia's former captain, Roman Shirokov, took an amateur league judge to hospital after he was not given a penalty at “Celebrity Cup”. Playing for “Match TV”, the television channel for which he works as an analyst, in the Moscow tournament, Shirokov became angry when his calls for penalty were rejected and rejected by the judge.
His protests did not go unnoticed by Judge Nikita Danchenko, who danced before approaching him to punish him. According to “Mirtor”, an eyewitness who has heard Shirokov, showed the threat of Russia's former captain of the judge: “If you show the red card, I'll give you a punch to remember during”.
Danchenko dared and pulled out the red card as Shirokov punched him in the face before he hit him in the stomach again and again until the judge fell to the ground. Opposing team players immediately withdrew Shirokov, but the damage was done. Danchenko discovered through the Instagram that he spent four hours in the hospital, treating injuries: “I spent up to four and a half hours in the hospital, then another 15-20 minutes in the emergency room. I sewed everywhere, I did a bunch of tests. And most importantly, everything seems to be good for me”
Chiakov, who has played 57 matches for Russia, has been suspended by “Match TV” as analyst and apologised through social networks: I would like to apologize to Nikita for such an inappropriate act, performed by me. I'm aware that failure to comply with a visible penalty and then red card can't be a reason to use hands. I hope Nikita gets better as soon as possible.
I, too, want to apologize to the tour organisers, my teammates, “Match TV” and viewers. What doesn't kill you will make you stronger, as people say. Therefore, we must go on and work. I want to thank everyone for the words of support, this is a difficult moment for me and my loved ones.
