The Islamic Community of Kosovo (BIK) has reacted to the alleged proposal to Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and PDK Chairman Kadri Veselini from the Special Prosecutor with headquarters at The Hague.
In response, BIK says they have been following international justice actions towards Thaci and other KLA leaders. With the cases, they have stressed that they consider political action the communique published by international prosecutors to President Thaci.
With deep concern we have pursued international justice actions towards the president of the country, Mr. Hashim Thaci and other KLA leaders. International prosecutors' communication to President Thaci, based on the moment of its making public, we consider political action that primarily harms the tribunal's credibility and credibility, and secondly, consider that, in the name of justice, it is learning to be punished and desecrated by cause and mission. U n CK for the country's freedom”, says BIK response.
It also notes that, “Accletation of KLA values is being done in the name of justice by unjust actions and contrary to international principles and practices of justice. Trying to criminalize the fair fight of the KLA is trying to equate the criminal with the victim. We firmly join the voice of the people seeking justice for victims of Kosovo's war, praising the unprecedented approach of international justice, which long ago published an announcement of an unconfirmed indictment against two of Kosovo's main leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Mr. Hashim Thaci and Mr. Kadri Veselin” is written away in reaction.
Furthermore, BIK stresses that publishing the indictment by prosecutors has nothing to do with justice and that it constitutes human rights violations.
This action, in addition to not dealing with justice, constitutes human rights violations as well as violating the basic principle of justice, presuming innocence. We, and all people, We consider the KLA the greatest and most successful value in the newest history of our people and which we maintain with much boasting. Again, we re-focus that the KLA defence fight, which has been fought in co-operation with the international community, has been fair and will remain so forever. We believe and engage in justice, but consider that by unjust, selective and unilateral actions justice cannot be established”, the BIK response concludes.
