A sexual hug may be among the easiest ways to make it require more, shows a recent survey by Canada's Sex Information and Education Council in collaboration with the Trojan condom company.
For this survey, which is ready to be published in scientific journals, researchers have asked 2,400 Canadians about the last time they had sex.
Of women who had embraced between 6 and 10 minutes after sex, 71 percent of them had appreciated general experience as “very satisfying”, along with 41 percent of women who had embraced fewer minutes.
In fact, sexual intimacy is important to the satisfaction of women as much as prelogue, says author Robin Milhouse, professor of human sexuality at Guelph University.
This may be because the bodies of women and men are enthralled with sex oxytocin, making them demand more touch or love.
Plus, women often feel ready even after sex, she says.
