Mychingan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, who is also commander general of the Michigan National Guard, has addressed the 3rd Battalion and the 238th aviation regiment before they leave for Kosovo.
She was in this address with Major General Paul Rogers, who have thanked each soldier for their courage and for serving in Michigan and the United States of America.
I am honored to return here with soldiers and members of the families of the 3rd Battalion and the 238th aviation regiment now when they will go to Kosovo for peacekeeping operations. I dedicate their commitment to the security of the nation and appreciate the sacrifice they will face in the coming months they and their families”, Governor Whitmer has said.
Michigan National Guard has continued to be an important part of the fight against COVID-19. As other members continue to assist the community with food, our male and female soldiers prepare to land in Kosovo to provide a safe environment for the” region, it has ended.
