He has said he has information on several cases when citizens have been forced to take loans of up to 1,000 euros to cope with treatment expenses from COVID-19.
I'm showing a reality of what citizens are facing for the treatment of COVID-19. Kosovo citizens, who have serious conditions, are being forced to borrow, those who are on the job, even with loans, and aid from Diaspora, those who have family there”.
But the biggest trouble is for those citizens who are not employed or do not have family members in the diaspora. The problem is how these guys are able to provide me with hundreds of euros to treat this disease and who are not lying in hospitals. They must cover all expenses at their own cost”, Syla said.
He has said that Minister Zemaj, like former Minister Vitita, is more interested in marketing and are playing the role of spokesman for the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo than they are dealing with citizens' problems.
Syla has said Kosovo has funds to secure medicine against COVIDD-19 for citizens. According to him, the Ministry of Health should put them on the essential drug list, those for treatment from Coronavirus.
We have sufficient funds and I think that many of the drugs that treat this virus are included in the essential list that has the MSH and the QKMFs, and that don't burden citizens who are also in serious condition”.
“Health Ministers have become more ISHKPK's spokesman, rather than dealing with the problems of citizens”, Syla has indicated.
