Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has recalled the 10th anniversary of the International Court of Justice's ruling, which confirmed that Kosovo's declaration of independence was not in conflict with international laws.
Thaci, through a Facebook post, wrote that we never doubted our historic right to live free in our independent and sovereign country.
“We have believed and we continue to believe in international justice, because we were always and continue to be on our right”, Thaci wrote.

Today it was 10 years when the international subjectivity of the new state of Kosovo was finally sealed. We never had any doubts about our historic right to live free in our independent and sovereign country. Serbia after losing the war in Kosovo, failing to comply with that fact, had decided to send the case of declaring our state's independence to the International Court of Justice.
We, our people, have always entrusted international justice, despite the fact that we still have no justice for the genocide of the state of Serbia committed over the Albanian civilian population in Kosovo. We have trusted and continue to believe in international justice, because we always have and continue to be on our right!
