After the spectacular incident of the theft of personal accounts of the known characters, another scandal involved Twitter, which claims the platform has been spying on the accounts of famous people, including Beyoncé.
Reference to a Bloomberg report, about 1,500 Twitter and contractors have monitored user accounts, including personal data, including telephone numbers, email addresses and IP addresses.
According to Bloomberg, in 2017 and 2018, some social network contractors created false questions about the safety of the account and managed to access the accounts of celebrities. A former employee told Bloomberg these interventions were frequent and the company could not track down fully, which raises the alarm for privacy violations.
This report comes after the scandal in mid-July, when Twitter accounts include that of US presidential candidate Joe Biden, former presidents, Barack Obama, the Kim Kardashian couple and Canye West CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, were stolen in an attempt to achieve a bitcoin (Electron coin).
A Twitter spokesman said that the matter was being viewed carefully. Some of the accounts that were stolen, only verified, were determined and the two-term security option, which is supposed to make stealing such a profile more difficult. Since the beginning of 2018, hackers have created false accounts claiming to be Elon Musk, Donald Trump, and others famous, to deceive individuals towards Bitcoins envoy, or other forms of crypto notes in the form of an investment, in promise that they will double and triple their money later.
