Qalaj: 40,000 police officers are committed to fighting the Coronavirus

Kosovo Police Director Rashit Qalaj said 4 thousand police officers are committed to fighting Coronavirus.

He has said that with the engagement of institutions and the discipline of citizens, there will be easier situations.

Kosovo's “committed police are 40,000, and this commitment I am making results. The situation has improved, but it is not yet at the desired level of”.

The police are working together with the inspectors and will continue this co-operation. We're very busy on the streets about how citizens should respect measures”.

We're also using the Penal Code to deal with criminal cases so that we can convince citizens to adhere to” measures.

Qalaj made these comments at the Health Ministry's conference where the data for those infected with Coronavirus was released.
