On March 9, 2020, nine Premier League clubs submitted a request (“Application for Intervention” based on Article R41.3 and the CAS Code R54 with limited intent to reject any possible request from Manchester City to request the suspension of the controversial decision.
The clubs that joined the request were: Arsenal, Burnley, Chelsea, Leicester, Liverpool, Manchester United, Neucstle, Tottenham, Wolverhampton.
City was pardoned by the CAS and sentenced to only one fine, whileardiola at the conference would accept the fact that his team had many enemies!
