An Albanian from Kosovo has become a source of infection with COVIID-19 in the Predazzo suburb of Italy, as the same has not respected the rule of self-isolation and quarantine when it returned from Kosovo to Italy on 17 June. Kosovo after its return had participated in an organised party with several other Albanians from Kosovo, and as a result, it has infected another 7 persons who have been part of the party.
This was indicated by the director of the Prevention Department, Antonio Ferro, of the Office of Health Services in the city of Trent.
Legal procedures for not respecting quarantine will be initiated against Kosovo, Italian media write.
“Burri has not respected the obligation to inform local health authorities of his return to Italy and has not carried out mandatory home self - isolation for people coming from countries outside the European Union. In the early days of his stay in Italy, he has also attended a Kosovo community party in Predazzo”, Ferro has said.
While he said that on June 24th the same was directed towards emergency and that the next day had resulted positive with COVID-19 along with two people living together.
The epidemiological investigation conducted by the Financial Health Services Agency has also led to the identification of five more positive persons.

For disrespecting rules for preventing the spread of the virus, Kosovo has been reported to judicial authorities in Italy.
The Kosovo case has led to the return of fears in Predazzo, however, the mayor says the situation appears to be under control.
After a difficult time, we hoped we could do it. Too bad, but fortunately it seems that the situation is limited to a small circle of people. The infected persons are asmptomatic. We hope the situation will be resolved”, Maria Bosin has said.
