Former Foreign Minister Enver Hoxhaj has congratulated the Independence Day of the United States of America, saying Kosovars had hope and symbol of freedom the American flag during the Serbian occupation. Hoxhaj has said Kosovo will never forget the great help of this country and nation
MP Enver Hoxhaj's PDK, through a Facebook text, has wished US Independence Day, distributing a 1996 photo when the first US office in Kosovo opened.
Hoxhaj, has said the US flag was the flag of hope for all Kosovars who experienced Serbian occupations, was a symbol of freedom, democracy and peace that expected Kosovo to build after a war that caused much loss and pain.
Enver Hoxhaj has written that Kosovo does not forget and remembers its great friends even in peacetime, adding that the American nation has given and continues to give much to global peace.

It is this flag of hope for all Kosovars who experienced Serbian occupation! It was this flag, symbol of freedom, democracy and peace that expected Kosovo to build after a war that caused much loss and pain.
Therefore, Kosovo does not forget and remembers big friends even in times of peace.
This is the 244th year of the United States of America independence, this cradle of democracy and guarantor of democratic values today! This great nation has given and is continuing to give much, for global peace.
This great day for the American nation is today the milestone for Kosovars. Kosovo will not forget the great hand of assistance of this country and nation, who believe and engage in human rights and human freedoms!
