At Gjilan Hospital 13 patients with COVID-19, all with oxygen therapy

At Gjilan's Regional Hospital, 23 patients are currently hospitalised, 13 have resulted in positive results with COVID19 and, despite their oxygen therapy, they are stable.

This was made known after the Gnjilan Emergency Committee meeting for the prevention of spread and management of the COVID-19 pandemic, which met to make the assessment, after 27 new positive cases with this virus.

Gjilan Deputy Chairman Arber Ismajli after this meeting said that 95 per cent of the cases have been identified as the source of infection.

He said the situation with COVID in this municipality is under full control, but has called for all measures recommended by the IKSHP to be respected.

“Mbi 95 per cent has been identified as the source of the infection and is under full control by the people dealing with the job“, Gjilan's deputy chairman said.

Epidemilogia Burbuke Shkodra said the total number of infected in the four-month period is 257, until he said they are awaiting the results of samples for the Gjilan region in the 8th and July 10th.

She said that in recent days the situation has been burdened with increasing new cases, but thankfully, she added that the situation patients who have resulted positive with COVID-19 is stable.

Shkodra stressed that only cases that are hospitals and symptoms will be tested.

“The situation is getting worse, but luckily the state of health and all the positive cases we've contacted everyone is stable. Those with the most severe symptoms are hospital-absorbed. And those with the most severe symptoms have been sent to QKUU clinics... At the moment, we do tests only in cases that are hospitals, and the cases when they come under control are with COVID” symptoms, he stressed.

Gjilan General Hospital Director Ukshin Ismaili said that currently in this clinic 23 patients are hospitalised, of them 13 are with COVID19 and are on oxygen therapy.

According to him, the capacity of this health institution is 14 access to oxygen therapy, and 50 beds where events can be hospital.
