Document: Kosovo government sets police hours for municipalities in the north

The Kosovo government has been ruling since 8th July, starting at 9: 00 p.m. until 5: 00 a.m., to ban any circulation of physical persons outside their home even for four Serb-run municipalities in Kosovo, such as North Mitrovica, Zubin Potok, Leposavic and Zvecan.

Exception for emergency health cases”, states the Government's decision, where the death of a family member, the need for medical assistance, and the need for institutional assistance.

And the Kosovo government from July 6th to the decision made from 21st of the evening until 5th morning, any circulation of physical persons outside their homes/banes is prohibited in: Pristina, Ferizaj, Prizren and Vushtrri.

From Monday (July 6th), gastronomy is barred from operating between 21pm and 5am, as well as throughout the country's entire territory. Out of this time it can only be worked in open spaces, with a distance of 1.5 meters between tables, and “take it with you” According to the government's announcement, all inspectorates will be made available to oversee implementation of the measures.

The decision also obliges public transport providers to work by half their capacity in the number of travelers carrying out space necessary for each traveler.

Public and private institutions should reduce the number of employees only to the level of necessary staff, while the Government has demanded all Kosovo municipalities “fully reactivate their local headquarters”.

And the Kosovo government made the decision to establish the restrictions on movement and provisional closure of businesses from March 23rd this year, while those measures were interrupted on June 8th of this year starting with gradual openings, as well as calls for implementation of health authorities' recommendations. The government's new decision will be in effect until another decision is made.
