Ali Ahmeti vows as he attacks critics: We Will Choose First Albanian Prime Minister of Macedonia

Democratic Union for Integration leader Ali Ahmeti, along with MP candidates in all areas today prior to the Northern Macedonia Assembly, said the first Albanian prime minister will be elected from this building.

Honored media, honored candidate for prime minister, honoured candidates for deputies, dear citizens, sisters and brothers

We started the campaign for the 15 July election in Prespa as we rounded it up last night in Ohrid, not by chance.
At the DUI election congress last year we determined our red lines for the future of the country and the citizens, and they are full equality, integration into NATO and the European Union, as these are achieved through the Ohrid Agreement, the Prespa Agreement and the good neighborhood from which no return!

In this election, as part of my heritage on policymaking in this country, we currentized the idea of electing the first Albanian prime minister of our common country, which dates back to our second election congress on 17 December 2009 in Skopje.

My legacy and that of my associates is the stone building behind the stone fortress of the complete equality of Albanians and others in our Euro-Atlantic country.

Today's time has come to put the last stone on the walls of our fortress that will remove ethnic hegemonism and end pretrials.
This idea, this initiative to remove all obstacles to full equality, met with extraordinary reactions, accelerated as well as unexplained.
Friends, speaking without thinking is like emptying your rifle without aiming!

We have taken this step and found that after implementing the norms of the Ohrid Agreement, after changing the Constitution, the name and good neighbourly agreements, after NATO membership and opening talks with the European Union, the time has come to clarify this goal for the good of our country.

The realization of this goal benefits all, just as all smaller communities have benefited from implementing the Ohrid Agreement and therefore I expect all communities, including Macedonians, to vote and support number 9 in these elections as the real option, the right option and the right one.

Our candidate has much greater experience than the other two candidates and there is no scandal behind him, but he is respected everywhere.

The time is for this new generation behind me to prove its value, while you, all of you, determined and undefined, women and men, young and old, come out and vote, circle your number 9, prove your worth by giving a chance to the new generation to prove its value and make the first Albanian prime minister of Northern Macedonia who will be elected right in this building, in Ku-seat.

Dear citizens, this goal is not just a dream, this goal is realized because we've measured it seven times and cut it down once, so join yourselves all around number nine and give support to the new generation to round our heritage of complete equality.

We dare, join, and together we will write his story to make the future.

That's what we're giving our kids and grandchildren today: The belief that we can achieve everything we dream about. The belief that each of you is worth it and will testify on July 15th, surrounding the number 9.
