Thaci calls for unity after Greenell's invitation: Kosovo ready for historic agreement with Serbia

President Hashim Thaci has written down once again, but now on the social Facebook network, following Green Call for Kosovo and Serbia to meet on 27 June in Washington.

Thaci writes:

The leadership of major political processes by the United States has always been determining for the Republic of Kosovo and its people.

As president of the Republic of Kosovo, I welcome the invitation to resume the dialogue process for normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia under the leadership of United States President Donald Trump, as well as his special envoy Ambassador Richard Green.

Kosovo is ready to reach historic peaceful agreements with Serbia, mutual recognition and establishment of diplomatic relations.

Now it is up to the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to show wisdom and caution in building unity and co-ordination with our strategic partners and devote ourselves to successfully completing this process. HTH
