Serbia's reports with the Russian state, Vuciq: Russia must understand our European path

Bringing public opinion to the attention of this spying scandal in which this Russian diplomat, who was actually a Russian military intelligence agent, as well as a senior member of Serbia's secret service, Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, claimed that “Serbia reacted seriously and responsibly”.

In his interview with “Radio Free Europe” Vuciq also paid attention to Serbia's position between Russia and Europe.

I think many EU members co-operate well with Russia and China. Serbia has almost thousands of times less trade with China than only two EU countries”, he said.

Asked how much relations between Serbia and Russia were marred by relatives with the Russian diplomat, he said they continue to try to preserve relations with the Russian state.

“Reagon at that moment, but you must not let such things destroy relations between friendly countries, and I think Serbia reacted seriously and responsibly. Russia is a friendly country for us, we try to maintain that relationship, we try to understand our European path, and I think it's clear to them how difficult Serbia's position is and I thank them for this understanding”, Vuciq said.
