People who tend to sleep late are often considered lazy and associated with the lowest producer in their work and everyday life, but science says that this may not be coincidence.
A 2009 study entitled “Why are night lips more intelligent” says that having control when you go to bed and waking up is a sign of intelligence.
The study was conducted by psychologists Satoshi Canazawa and Kaya Perina, in which they gave student intelligence tests from 80 high schools and 50 high schools, once at the beginning of the experiment and again five years later, writes hl-house.
At the time of the second test, they had reports of 15 197 participants when they went to bed, and when they got up on weekdays and weekends, in order to determine whether sleep - child habits are linked to intelligence.
Researchers found that children who went to bed later and got up later were predisposed to have higher intelligence, a conclusion that included a wide range of demographic variables, such as ethnic affiliation, education, and religion.
The study says that smarter people have a greater ability to adapt to novel behavior, so they tend to display higher intelligence rates than people with other sleep patterns.
