PDK warns initiative to bring Serbian criminals to justice

The PDK, through a communiqué for the media, says the unprecedented publication of allegations of indictment for two of KLA founders -- the two main personalities of Kosovo's freedom and independence, party chairman Kadri Veselin and the country's president, Hashim Thaci -- is a move against the issue.

The PDK adds that this is a crucial moment to ensure comprehensive support in implementing President Wessel's initiative to reactivate and intensify Kosovo's efforts for transitional justice, strengthen collective memory, and provide legal responsibility for criminals who have slaughtered Albanian civilians.

This challenge will neither be allowed to stop, divide, or weaken Kosovo and its future. Kosovo's Euro-Atlantic orientation and permanent friendship with the US will remain our state's permanent priorities and daily engagement PDK.

“We call on the ruling structures of the party, membership, citizens and all political parties to display caution and solidarity, so that together we can protect our fair fight and the interest of our state”, the communiqué says. /
