Thanks to Sacrifice and Pure War ♪Saviors Ours? Are you praising him?♪Flag Ours? Even in places they don't know ♪Independence Kosovo?
We used to play in the rubber fields, courtyards, and improvised halls. Even those sporting activities we had often stopped in half, while organizers and athletes ended up in prison.
But everything changed in 1999.
The great sacrifices and the pure war of the Kosovo Liberation Army brought freedom. Our Saviors, heroes, and martyrs, we will be grateful all our lives, as we will never forget the help of our allies, NATO, top of the United States.
Many athletes joined the KLA ranks. In their honor, many roads, squares, and sports items are now appointed.
In two decades of freedom, our state experienced various challenges towards statehood, while athletes played a key role, not by chance, athletes were called the best ambassadors of our state.
Our athletes raised our flag even in countries that continue to hesitate to accept Kosovo.
The peak of the successes has been reached with Olympic champion Majlinda Kelmendi, whose Golden Medal led Kosovo to enter among 100 Olympic medalised states.
Throughout this journey of our athletes, they remain grateful to the Kosovo Liberation Army war, while deliverers are their greatest inspiration.
So in these difficult days for KLA soldiers and leaders, who sacrificed much for our country's freedom and independence, the Kosovo Olympic Committee expresses strong support for all those who contributed to us enjoying freedom and being equal to other states.
