Valon Murati says achtisarian Kosovarists are enjoying the news that the idea of exchange of territories has been removed from the table.
He writes:
Kosovars ahtisarian, cosovacentrists of the kind of political naive, even those who consider themselves Albanians, are thrilled that the idea of “exchange of territories” has been removed from the table. They are rejoicing that Eastern Kosovo will not be part of Kosovo. They are rejoicing that there will be no possibility for constitutional changes. But if you don't know what the “is saying. For one thing I'm sure, there may be “agreements” and agreements, economic and such as association or political-territorial autonomy for Serbs. There can be a continuation of the status quo. But all of this will seriously harm the civic and national interest, Kosovo's state interest. I am also convinced that none of these solutions will be final. There is no final agreement with Serbia without redefining borders between Kosovo and Serbia, and without the removal of constitutional privileges Serbs have with the constitution, and therefore without the removal of Serbia from Kosovo.
The following is a new status of two years that has lost nothing of its actuality:
They are saying redefining the borders Kosovo loses. They're panicking. They're trying to freak people out. They're deliberately disinforming them.
What Kosovo loses with redefining borders:
He loses the right to the Serbs' veto of changing the Constitution and vital laws that have made Kosovo dysfunctional state (remember the army's deadlock);
Lost the opportunity to install the association of Serb municipalities in Kosovo;
He loses opportunities to constantly destabilise Kosovo from parts that are disloyal to it (Leposaviqi, Zvecan and Zubin-Potoku).
He loses the opportunity to continue to have ethnic tensions in Kosovo, which could lead to isolated conflicts in the future.
What Kosovo wins:
) Wins eastern Kosovo
) gains state functionality
You gain complete sovereignty.
It wins the opportunity to start dealing with life's problems, the economy, rule of law, fighting corruption, education, health, social well-being, and so on.
They win peace and stability.
He wins the opportunity to start putting in normal reports with Serbia.
It wins the opportunity to decide whether to join Albania or the form this union may have.
